Rupert knows a thing or two about lighting and design after working in the film and television industry for over 30 years as a Production Designer. He has encountered many great directors, cinematographers and actors such as Nick Cage and Andrea Riseborough. With this on-set experience bringing stories to life with creative and technical experts, he has honed his skills as a portrait artist. ‘I want to capture my subjects in a moment in time. Above all, I allow you, to be you.’
What started as a passionate hobby has turned into a carefully curated business. His subjects are his absolute focus during each session. He offers a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere for his portraiture, at his studio in Midtown Toronto.
